9.5.10 A Hunting We Will Go.

Now that I'm almost officially ONE YEAR OLD, I can do big boy stuff such as host my first dove shoot! Well, GrandBuddy and Daddy helped me host it, but we had a great time doing it and I'm ready to start planning my next one.  See for yourselves how much fun we had!

Do birthday boys get to hunt too?

9.4.10 Birthday Party #1 (19 days until my real birthday)

Happy first (early) birthday to me!  I celebrated my first birthday party with Bebe, GrandBuddy, and Great Gaga in Deanburg, TN.  Actually, Great Gaga was nice enough to share her birthday with me.  I felt like such a big boy!  The cake was soooooo easy to eat, and I LOVED all the sugar-filled icing!  Bebe even gave me some ice-cream...I guess the photos are evidence I've not been exposed to cake and ice cream before now.  I tried to make some good faces and ham it up for the camera.  Good thing I can chalk this party up as a practice round, for I've got another family birthday party in 3 weeks!  Lucky me!

I love sugar!

I thought it would be fun to throw my cake.

Mommy and the camera caught part of it.

GrandBuddy enjoyed the blue cake as much as I did!

7.22.10 No, No Young Man! No No!

Although I'm still struggling to give High Five on demand, I've become quite adept at shaking my head No.  When Mommy and Daddy tell me no, I get a big kick out of stopping in my tracks, shaking my head No at them, then proceeding forward again.  I'm also getting pretty good at shaking my head when I hear variations of the word No (i.e. Not, Nope, etc).

7.22.10 Buddy's Baby Barks

Just one day shy of being 10 months old, I now bark when I chase my puppy dog Jackie.  See for yourself in this awesomely funny video!

Dog Humor

It's no secret that I laugh a lot - especially at my puppy dog Jackie.  Here is proof of how she keeps me entertained.  *Disclaimer:  Mommy and Daddy call this my fake laugh...it's one of a variety of laughs that I use when I am highly amused.  Cheers!

9 Months - I stand Alone!

At nine months old, i'm a very busy boy as evidenced by the photos below.  Watch out world, here I come!

Mommy, look at me!                                                    Pulling up on my own!

8 Months & Counting...

I'm baaaaack!  Not only did my blog undergo a slight makeover but, as evidenced by the photo above, yours truly has also undergone a slight makeover.  Indeed, Little Buddy now has hair.  Is it red?  Is it dark brown?  I'm keeping the truth a secret for now.

5 Months Old...Movin' & Shakin'!

Just a few quick notes to catch you up to speed:

-I've become quite good at eating with a spoon
-I roll over from one side of the room to the other

-I can easily put both feet in my mouth
-I recently licked a Cadbury mini-egg
-I still sleep straight through the night (and have since I was 8 wks old!)
-I try really hard to sit up on my own, but still require a little help
-I also try really hard to crawl, but haven't yet got all parts moving in sync (arms & legs). Instead, I look like a little inch worm, which causes Mommy & Daddy to worry about me getting carpet burn on my face and elbows.

See below for pictures of recent events!!!

Pop-Up Booster Seat (Thanks to my relatives for this super awesome gift!)

Thanks for the Eddie Bauer Pop-Up Travel Booster Seat, I'm now sitting at the table with Mommy & Daddy and can even join them at restaurants too (without needing to use a sling and be strapped into my carseat still). This is especially great now that I'm eating solids!

New Travel Bed!

Now that I'm a big boy, I've outgrown my travel Pack N Play. Fortunately, Mom & Dad bought me a Pea Pod tent! Perfect for visiting out-of-town Grandparents and also for hanging out on the beach (summer can't come fast enough!). Even Mommy can fit inside with me! The best part is that I'll be able to enjoy my tent until I'm 5 or 6 years old. Totally cool!
